The lack of these structures leaves residents vulnerable in the event of a sudden military attack. Experts are questioning why developers continue to ignore the necessity of safe basements. There is a pressing need to evaluate the costs associated with installing these shelters in new projects. Consequently, the gap between modern urban development and security requirements remains a critical issue.
