A new artistic book titled "Tetouan, Haven of the Oud… Towards Rationalizing Music" has been released in Tetouan, Morocco. Published as part of the “Hamish” series by the Labou Bakeet Association for Contemporary Performing Arts, the book commemorates Morocco’s Throne Day. It also honors the 27th edition of the Oud Festival held in Tetouan, serving as a documented record of the event. The publication is a collaborative effort involving Bab Al-Hikma Publications and support from the Tetouan municipality and the Tetouan regional council. The book aims to celebrate the rich musical heritage of the region and explore the intellectual aspects of Moroccan music. It is a testament to the importance of the Oud in Tetouan’s cultural identity.
