A 780-meter-long new road is currently under construction in the 11th khoroo of Khan-Uul district, Ulaanbaatar, stretching from Tenger Rashaan Street to Ar Zaisan Street, near the southeast side of Khümnün School. The project, funded by the city budget, is being undertaken by the "Ulaanbaatar Western Zone Road Repair and Maintenance" joint-stock company. As of today, the liquid bitumen spraying phase, a crucial step before asphalt concrete paving, has been completed. This spraying aims to improve the foundation and bonding of the asphalt, enhancing the road's quality and durability. Repairs to damaged railings along the route are also being carried out to ensure road safety. The total budget for the road construction is 2.7 billion Tögrög, and completion is scheduled for this year.
