A recent study in the Netherlands reveals largely unchanged attitudes among adults towards homosexuality compared to two years ago, though significant differences exist between specific LGBTQI+ groups. The bi-annual LGBTQIqa+monitor by Movisie, Panteia, and Ipsos I&O indicates varying levels of wellbeing within these communities. While acceptance of homosexuality remains predominantly positive (84 percent), a slight shift towards neutral opinions has been observed. Negative views on homosexuality remain stable at 4 percent. Researchers express concern that while views on homosexuality are generally positive, those concerning intersex, transgender, and non-binary individuals are less so. The study, commissioned by the Dutch cabinet, also noted a previous decline in acceptance of homosexuality among Dutch youth aged 12-16.
