The National Citizen Party (NCP) has demanded one crore taka (approximately $1 million USD) in financial aid for each family who lost a member during the July movement. The demand was made during a prayer event commemorating July Martyrs' Day, organized by the NCP Dhaka Metropolitan North on Thursday evening. Ariful Islam Adeeb, the convener of NCP Dhaka Metropolitan North, presented three demands, with the financial aid being the primary one. He emphasized the need for permanent financial stability for these families. The NCP seeks to honor the sacrifices made during the July movement through substantial support for the bereaved families. Further details regarding the remaining two demands were not immediately available. The party hopes the government will seriously consider their request.
