Mozambique’s Minister of Planning and Development, Salim Valá, announced a $250 million project aimed at integrated development in the northern provinces. The project, implemented by the Agency for the Development of Integrated Areas in the North (ADIN), focuses on improving infrastructure and bolstering resilience in the region. It will prioritize investments in key sectors to stimulate economic growth and enhance living conditions for residents. The initiative seeks to address historical underdevelopment and vulnerability in northern Mozambique, particularly in areas affected by conflict and climate change. ADIN will oversee the implementation, coordinating efforts across various government departments and potentially with international partners. The project represents a significant investment in the long-term stability and prosperity of northern Mozambique.
