Two separate traffic incidents in Bangladesh have resulted in fatalities, according to police reports. A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorcycle, the rider of which fled the scene and remains at large. Police have identified the motorcycle involved in the hit-and-run. In a separate incident, a passenger in an auto-rickshaw died after being struck by a tractor-truck. Sub-Inspector Abu Noman of the Highway thana confirmed the details of both accidents. Authorities are currently working to locate the tractor-truck involved in the second collision and apprehend its driver. These incidents highlight ongoing road safety concerns within the country.
