Mostar commemorated the 34th anniversary of the abductions of 114 civilians from the Ubork and Sutina areas in May 1992. Victims’ families and researchers attribute the forced removal of Bosniak and Croat civilians to members of the Yugoslav People’s Army (JNA) and Serbian paramilitary groups. The operation was allegedly commanded by General Momčilo Perišić. The civilians were taken from an atomic shelter, with the details of their subsequent fates remaining a focus of ongoing investigation. The anniversary served as a solemn remembrance for the victims and their families. The event highlights the enduring impact of war crimes committed during the Bosnian War.
