Morocco is developing a national “digital twin” of its water system, a virtual replica of the country’s entire hydrological network. The project, based at the future scientific tower of the EHTP, will model everything from watersheds to groundwater reserves. Led by Professor Hassan Jarar Oulidi, an expert in digital twins, the initiative aims to provide a constantly updated, real-time understanding of Morocco’s water resources. This virtual model will be crucial for informed decision-making regarding water management and sustainability. It represents a key component of the TEC Pole’s wider objectives. The project intends to support more efficient allocation and preservation of this vital resource in the face of growing environmental challenges.
