Morocco is investing in its tourism sector by officially certifying the skills of its workforce. Over 6,000 tourism professionals have already received certification through the KAFAA program since 2024, with more than 20,000 currently enrolled. The initiative aligns with Morocco’s 2023-2026 tourism roadmap, aiming to enhance service quality and industry standards. The third edition of the program was launched on June 11th in Rabat. KAFAA focuses on recognizing the competencies of individuals working within the tourism industry. This push for professionalization is intended to support Morocco’s ambitious tourism goals and maintain its competitiveness. The program represents a significant effort to formalize skills and elevate the overall quality of the tourism experience.
