Moroccan runner Sofia Serraj and Swiss athlete Yan Ollarandi were crowned champions in the women’s and men’s categories respectively at the third edition of the Trail Chechaouen race. The competition concluded on Sunday in Talassemtane National Park. The results were determined by aggregating scores from the three stages of the race, held between June 12th and 14th. The event drew runners from Morocco and internationally, combining athletic competition with tourism. This year’s race showcased the region’s natural beauty and provided a challenging course for participants. The Trail Chechaouen has quickly become a notable event on the Moroccan sporting calendar.
