Approximately 28,000 volunteers and temporary staff are supporting the Asian Games currently being held in Nagoya, Japan. Among them is M. Enkhtuyaa, a Mongolian student studying architecture and urban planning at Nagoya Institute of Technology with a scholarship from the Japanese government. She is working at the “Nishio” Sports Center where boxing competitions are taking place. Enkhtuyaa initially learned about the Games through news of the Mongolian women’s basketball team and subsequently applied to become a temporary staff member, now working at the official merchandise store. She expressed her joy at supporting Mongolian athletes competing for medals, particularly within the boxing venue. Enkhtuyaa also had the opportunity to briefly meet and speak with Mongolian Prime Minister N. Ukral during his visit to encourage the boxing team, sharing a photo and receiving well wishes for her studies.
