The world-renowned Oktoberfest, originating in Munich in 1810, is set to come to Mongolia. Traditionally attracting over 7 million visitors annually, Oktoberfest celebrates German culture with beer, food, music, and traditional attire. This year, Mongolians will no longer need to travel to Germany to experience the festivities, as MSM Group will host an official Oktoberfest 2026 event from August 26-29th. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste Paulaner beer, one of six traditional breweries from Munich. The event will feature live music from both a German band, MünchnerXindl, and top Mongolian groups. Organizers aim to recreate the authentic atmosphere of Oktoberfest, offering a taste of German culture, music, food, and of course, world-famous beer, right in Ulaanbaatar.
