Mongolia recently received 1,000 tons of jet fuel from China, delivered to a warehouse in Zamyn-Uud, to address supply shortages. This shipment is part of a 3,000-ton deal negotiated with China after Russia, Mongolia’s traditional supplier, drastically reduced its exports between June and August due to internal issues. Four tanker wagons of the initial shipment arrived in Ulaanbaatar on Saturday, with the remaining eight expected within 3-4 days from Erenhot port. Simultaneously, 16,500 tons of AИ-2 gasoline have entered the country between August 1st and 10th, and AИ-92 fuel is being dispatched from storage facilities to distribution stations. Mongolia had previously secured an order for 60,000 tons of gasoline for the month. Authorities are actively monitoring fuel supplies and distribution to mitigate potential disruptions.
