The perceived conflict between human and artificial intelligence in art has a surprisingly long history, dating back to the 1960s. A pioneer in technological art demonstrated then that machines could challenge conventional understandings of creativity. This early exploration foreshadows current discussions surrounding AI-generated art and its impact on human perception. Adler is participating in a panel discussion titled “Pausar la IA” (Pause AI), exploring these themes. The event is hosted by the Goethe-Institut Buenos Aires, Fundación Medifé and Fundación Andreani, with support from Revista Ñ. The panel seeks to examine the historical and contemporary implications of machines in the realm of artistic expression. This meeting highlights the ongoing evolution of the relationship between art, technology, and human ingenuity.
