Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir has provided a significant boost to local students preparing to compete on a national stage. He presented a Sh3 million cheque to assist over 4,000 students from 109 schools representing Mombasa County. These students will participate in the Kenya National Drama and Music Festivals, as well as the National Sports Games, being held in Bungoma County. The Governor officially flagged off the students as they prepare to travel in groups. This donation aims to alleviate financial burdens and ensure equitable participation for all students. The support underscores Governor Nassir’s commitment to education and youth development within the county. The festivals promise a platform for showcasing talent and fostering national unity.
