Milan police have arrested a 27-year-old man with a history of robbery, specifically targeting elderly individuals, following an incident on August 6th. The man allegedly knocked an 86-year-old man to the ground and stole his gold chain while the victim was walking with his wife. The victim received immediate on-site medical attention but declined hospital transport, providing authorities with a description of the assailant. Police reviewed security footage, identified the suspect, and apprehended him on Saturday afternoon near the scene of the crime. The suspect was observed surveilling an area frequented by elderly people. Matching clothing and accessories from the day of the robbery, visible in photos on his phone, confirmed his identity, and he has been taken into custody.
