Celebrated Czech-French novelist Milan Kundera and his wife, Věra, have been laid to rest in their hometown of Brno. The burial took place Thursday at the Central Cemetery in a place of honor. Their final resting place features a distinctive tomb designed by Austrian architect Johannes Paar. The tomb is notable for its “levitating” appearance, creating a visually striking memorial. Kundera, known for works like *The Unbearable Lightness of Being*, died in July at the age of 94. The unique design reflects the author’s legacy and provides a lasting tribute to his life and work.
