Microsoft will not release a certificate update for the Office 2019 software suite on Mac. Consequently, users of this version will lose the ability to edit documents starting July 13. This restriction affects several core applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote. After the deadline, the software will transition to a limited functionality mode. Users will still be able to open, view, and print their existing documents. However, any further modifications to these files will be impossible. This development was first reported by Macrumors.
