A measles outbreak in Bangladesh has resulted in over 900 deaths nationwide, according to recent health reports. From March 15th to August 16th, a total of 908 fatalities were attributed to measles and its complications. In the 24-hour period between August 15th and 16th, six more individuals succumbed to measles-related symptoms. Simultaneously, 1,101 new cases of measles or measles-like symptoms were reported. The Health Directorate confirmed these figures in a press release, signaling a continuing public health crisis.
