Authorities have launched a comprehensive inspection of 140 mining entities operating within the capital's territory. The investigation, which began on June 15 and runs until July 2, focuses on the extraction of common minerals like sand, gravel, and clay. Inspectors have discovered widespread violations, including mining beyond permitted boundaries and ignoring open-pit safety regulations. Many companies failed to implement environmental management plans or adhere to soil protection and hazardous waste laws. In Nalaikh District, one specific entity was caught extracting unauthorized minerals despite holding a license only for brick production. Officials are currently documenting these breaches and issuing legal requirements to rectify the deficiencies. The operation aims to ensure all mining activities align strictly with national legislation.
