A man, suspected of being under the influence of drugs, threatened staff and security at Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem with a machete. The incident prompted a response from municipal police and regular police officers. Authorities successfully subdued the individual without causing further harm. An investigation into the threats and the man’s motives is currently underway. No injuries to hospital personnel or security were reported. The suspect is believed to be homeless. Police are continuing to gather information regarding the circumstances surrounding the event.
