A 30-year-old man has been penalized under Mongolian law for disturbing the peace and allegedly harassing a young girl. Social media reports described a man behaving erratically near the 25th pharmacy, frightening a girl and then becoming aggressive towards a witness. Police received a report on August 4th concerning a man causing a disturbance while intoxicated near the Chingunjav monument. An investigation confirmed the man, identified as “G,” was involved in a public altercation. Consequently, he was issued a penalty in accordance with the Law on Administrative Offences for creating a public disturbance. The General Police Agency confirmed the details of the incident and the subsequent punishment.
