A man was hospitalized after falling from the pier at Brygga in Tønsberg, Norway, according to the Sør-Øst police district. The incident occurred while the man was cycling and subsequently fell into the water. Police report he appeared to have struck his head on a boat before entering the harbor. Emergency responders initiated CPR at the scene before the man regained breathing and a pulse en route to the hospital. Authorities are currently classifying the incident as a drowning with a head injury. The man’s current condition remains unknown, but he was conscious and breathing when transported for medical care.
