Malaysian General Operations Force (GOF) officers discovered and confiscated RM199,000 (approximately $43,000 USD) worth of illicit vape pods in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan. The seizure occurred at an unauthorized jetty situated along the border with Thailand. Authorities indicate the vape pods were abandoned, suggesting smugglers attempted to evade detection. The location, Lubok Gong, is known as a transit point for illegal goods. This operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat smuggling activities along the Malaysia-Thailand border. No arrests have been reported in connection with the case as of yet, and investigations are continuing to identify those involved in the smuggling operation. The confiscated goods will be processed according to Malaysian law.
