Lusíadas Saúde has expressed interest in entering another Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for hospital management. This openness follows their previous experience operating a facility in Cascais. However, the group's president has raised concerns regarding the current structure of Local Health Units (ULS). He believes that partnerships between private entities and ULS require more detailed regulatory frameworks. Specifically, the group argues that the current model needs significant improvement to be viable. Without these adjustments, the coordination between private providers and the public system remains inefficient. Consequently, Lusíadas Saúde is advocating for a more refined approach to these collaborations. This strategic stance aims to ensure better operational stability for future healthcare investments.
