Bangladesh’s Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced a price reduction for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for September. The price of a 12-kilogram LPG cylinder has been reduced by 13 taka, from 1,598 taka to 1,585 taka. This new price will be effective from Wednesday evening, September 2nd. Prior to this, the price of the same cylinder was 1,528 taka in July, before increasing in August. The price adjustment reflects changes in international fuel markets and aims to provide some relief to consumers. This is the latest in a series of adjustments to LPG prices in Bangladesh over recent months. The BER Commission regularly reviews and adjusts LPG prices to reflect global market trends.
