Twenty-seven lindenwood statues are returning to a monastery in Dolní Hedč, Czech Republic, after being missing for four decades. The statues once adorned eight chapels along the path leading to the Monastery on Mount of Our Lady. Originally, the sculptures guided pilgrims as they ascended to the religious site. Their disappearance in the past left a noticeable void in the spiritual landscape. Following a period of absence, the restored statues are now being reinstalled, reviving a significant piece of local religious history and artistic heritage. The return signifies a restoration of tradition and a renewed connection to the site’s past.
