Lifeguard Marek Dvořák and author Martin Moravec launched a new first-aid handbook in Prague, focused on life-saving techniques. The book, their second collaboration, was presented with a demonstration of a drowning rescue and CPR training. Dvořák highlighted that many of his most challenging rescues involved children who were drowning. The handbook aims to equip individuals with the knowledge to respond effectively in such emergencies. The launch event included practical exercises to familiarize attendees with essential rescue procedures. The authors hope the guide will improve outcomes in water-related accidents, particularly for children.
