Enersense will construct a large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) in Grobiņa parish, Latvia. The project boasts a capacity of 100 megawatts (MW) and a storage capacity of 200 megawatt-hours (MWh). Announced on August 10th, the park aims to bolster energy infrastructure within the region. This development represents a significant investment in renewable energy solutions for Latvia. The BESS park will contribute to grid stability and facilitate the integration of intermittent renewable energy sources. Enersense anticipates the project will play a crucial role in modernizing Latvia's energy landscape. The system's large storage capacity will enable efficient energy management and supply.
