Latvian Radio’s Radio Theatre is calling on the public to submit their ghost stories as part of an effort to preserve oral storytelling traditions. The station is accepting submissions of scary, mysterious, or even humorous horror tales until September 6th. Selected stories will be professionally narrated by an actor and broadcast to listeners this Autumn. This initiative aims to collect and share the most compelling Latvian ghost stories, highlighting the country’s rich folklore. The Radio Theatre hopes to capture a diverse range of experiences, from genuinely frightening accounts to lighthearted spooky tales. This project provides a platform for both storytellers and listeners to connect with Latvia’s cultural heritage. Interested individuals are encouraged to submit their narratives before the deadline.
