Construction of the Latumenten Flyover in West Jakarta is currently 55 percent complete, with an expected finish date of December 2026. The project, valued at Rp259 billion (approximately $16.5 million USD), aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the Grogol area. Once completed, the flyover is projected to reduce traffic by up to 40 percent. As part of the project, the existing at-grade railway crossing will be permanently closed to traffic. This closure is intended to improve traffic flow and enhance safety. Authorities anticipate the flyover will significantly improve connectivity and reduce travel times for commuters in the area. The project represents a key investment in Jakarta’s ongoing infrastructure development.
