Kyrgyzstan is planning to build a vaccine manufacturing plant and upgrade its veterinary laboratory infrastructure. A working meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Erlist Akunbekov, discussed the construction of veterinary laboratories adhering to biosafety levels BSL-2 and BSL-3, to be based at the Kyrgyz Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine.
