Following the conclusion of Maha Saptami, Maha Ashtami is being observed today in Bangladesh. Maha Ashtami rituals and worship will begin this Monday (October 18th) morning at the Dhakeshwari National Temple. A grand offering of Maha Prasad will be distributed after the worship. Notably, Kumari Puja will be held at the Ramakrishna Math in Gopibag, Dhaka, at 9:30 AM on Ashtami. Devotees worship a young girl, considering her to be the embodiment of the divine feminine, embodying purity and womanhood. This Kumari Puja is a special attraction during Ashtami.
