Russia continues to target Ukraine with drone strikes, with the city of Kherson experiencing over 5,500 attacks in early June. Authorities are implementing mandatory evacuations of families with children from the most dangerous districts, particularly those near the Dnipro River, which separates Kherson from Russian forces. A recent strike earlier this month completely destroyed a residential building in a high-risk zone. Debris from damaged structures is being continuously removed, with trucks making multiple daily trips to a nearby landfill, now containing 11,000 tons of rubble. The majority of the debris originates from private homes. Evacuations are scheduled to begin in July as the threat of further attacks remains high.
