Kaduna State Police have successfully rescued 75 people who were kidnapped by armed men near Birnin Gwari. The victims, identified as Fulani travelers, were abducted while travelling on commercial buses in the Folwaya Village area on Wednesday. Police spokesman, DSP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the rescue operation, stating the kidnappers fled during the intervention. The rescued group includes men, women, and children. Authorities have not yet released details regarding any arrests made in connection with the kidnapping. This incident highlights ongoing security challenges in the region, with frequent reports of travelers being targeted by criminal groups.
