Kiambu County has completed construction of 36 modern trading units in Kabete, designed to benefit local small-scale traders. The project, spearheaded by the County Department of Trade and Industrialisation, aims to bolster the business environment and support the expansion of micro and small enterprises. County Executive Committee member Susan Kirimi highlighted the initiative as a key component of ongoing economic development efforts. These new units will provide improved infrastructure and facilities for Kabete’s traders. The development is expected to create a more conducive and organized marketplace. Ultimately, the county hopes this investment will stimulate economic growth within the Kabete area and beyond. This initiative underscores a commitment to supporting grassroots entrepreneurship.
