The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Department (Gulkarmat) conducted an emergency evacuation in the waters of Panggang Island. The operation targeted passengers and crew members of the motor vessel KM Sumber Makmur. A total of 26 passengers were successfully rescued from the ship. Additionally, three crew members were evacuated during the operation. The rescue took place in the strategic waters of the Thousand Islands archipelago. Emergency teams coordinated the effort to ensure all individuals on board were safely removed. No casualties were reported during the evacuation process.
