A 25-year-old Israeli citizen was rescued after suffering a serious accident in the Cusco region of Peru. The incident occurred while the tourist was trekking the route between the Ausangate glacier and Vinicunca, popularly known as the Mountain of Seven Colors. The victim reportedly suffered a leg fracture during the excursion. In response, the National Police launched a rescue operation in the Quispicanchi province to reach the injured man. Authorities successfully evacuated the tourist from the remote area. The operation ensured the victim received the necessary medical attention for his injury.
