Israeli settlers attacked an NBC News television crew and a Palestinian woman during a report on the occupied West Bank. The crew was interviewing Aida Ahmed Abdullah, who was showing them her former home when at least four masked settlers attacked her and the journalists with sticks and stones, leaving Abdullah unconscious. Both Abdullah and the NBC team required medical treatment for their injuries. The attack occurred near Qusra, a Palestinian village recently targeted by settlers, and follows a UN report holding the Israeli government responsible for settler violence. Separately, a British activist, Finn Joughin, was detained by settlers and is now being deported from Israel after attempting to intervene in a confrontation between settler children and Palestinian children.
