Iran has developed a novel bladeless wind turbine design poised to significantly improve energy capture. Unlike conventional turbines, this new system utilizes a magnetic-levitation rotor and a 360-degree wind-guidance system. This innovative approach eliminates the need for bulky and complex yaw mechanisms typically required to point blades into the wind. Developers claim the bladeless design captures approximately seven times more energy than traditional wind turbines.
