Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is collaborating with PT Terminal Teluk Lamong to comprehensively map marine life in Teluk Lamong. This initiative aims to bolster conservation efforts by providing crucial data on the area’s biodiversity. The mapping project will identify species distribution, habitat types, and overall ecosystem health within the bay. Data collected will inform sustainable port management practices and minimize environmental impact from port operations. Researchers will utilize advanced technologies to gather and analyze information regarding the marine environment. The collaboration intends to support regional conservation strategies and ensure the long-term health of Teluk Lamong's coastal ecosystems, balancing industrial activity with environmental preservation.
