The Indonesian government is preparing stimulus for airline tickets to facilitate travel during the 2026-2027 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays. This stimulus will take the form of a Value Added Tax (VAT) borne by the government, known as PPN Ditanggung Pemerintah (PPN DTP). The amount of the tax relief is estimated to be 11 percent.
