India’s Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched its first private orbital rocket, Vikram-1, marking a significant milestone for the nation’s space program. The launch took place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 0635 GMT, initiating “Mission Aagaman.” This achievement positions Skyroot as the first private company in India to reach orbit with a domestically-developed rocket.
