Authorities have issued notices to police commissioners in Delhi and Gautam Budh Nagar, and the Mainpuri superintendent of police, demanding a detailed report within two weeks. The NHRC is concerned with potential human rights violations, requesting updates on the investigation’s progress and any compensation provided to the victim. The bus was reportedly not operating a regular route and was en route to a repair workshop when the accused driver and conductor, now identified, allegedly assaulted the girl.
