The operation involved international cooperation with organizations like Interpol. These sites illegally offered access to popular Korean webtoons and other cultural products. Authorities have also apprehended the operators of these illicit platforms. This crackdown aims to protect intellectual property rights and address the growing issue of online piracy affecting the K-content industry. The Ministry and police will continue efforts to combat the illegal distribution of Korean cultural content globally. This collaborative effort demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding the value of Korean creative works.
