This marks the debut of a pioneering joint clearance system, streamlining the process for travelers between Hong Kong and mainland China. Passengers will now be able to complete both Hong Kong and mainland immigration procedures simultaneously, reducing wait times and improving efficiency. Clearance services at the revamped Huanggang Port commenced at 6:30 am on Monday. The new facility represents a significant upgrade to border crossing procedures between the two regions. This development aims to facilitate smoother travel and trade between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, improving connectivity for residents and visitors.
