This issue stems from ongoing reconstruction work at the local train station, where construction crews are continuously pumping large volumes of water from excavation sites. This pumping is directly impacting nearby wells, causing them to dry up or experience critically low water levels. The railway administration acknowledges the problem and attributes it to the construction activities. As a temporary solution, they have pledged to halt the water pumping for a period of two months. This pause aims to allow water levels in the wells to replenish, alleviating the immediate impact on residents. It remains unclear what long-term solutions will be implemented to address this issue as construction continues.
