The Iranian-backed Houthi militia in Yemen claims to have attacked King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The claim, reported by AFP, states the airport north of the Saudi capital was targeted. The Houthis also allege an attack on a refinery belonging to the state-owned oil company Aramco. According to militia spokesperson Yahya Saree, the attacks against Saudi Arabia were executed using drones, ballistic missiles, and cruise missiles. These reports have not yet been independently verified by other sources. The attack marks a potential escalation in the ongoing conflict in Yemen and tensions with Saudi Arabia.
