A significant Ottoman-era bathhouse, known as the Bey Hamam, has reopened to the public in Thessaloniki, Greece. The bathhouse is considered the largest of its kind in the Balkans. Culture Minister Lina Mendoni described the reopening as a joyous occasion, emphasizing the importance of returning monuments to their communities. The restoration allows visitors to once again experience this important piece of Thessaloniki’s history and cultural heritage.
